We would like to thank the RNDC team for all their efforts on behalf of Gin Mare and for positioning it for long term growth in California.”
Established in 2010, Gin Mare is the first ever Mediterranean Gin. Distilling the Mediterranean lifestyle into a bottle, the gin uses a unique blend of botanicals that include Arbequina Spanish olives, basil from Italy, rosemary from Greece, and thyme from Turkey.
The distillery is located about 50 kilometers outside of Barcelona in an old fishing village. The custom-made still is housed within an 18th century chapel. The gin is created on a base of premium barley while each botanical is independently distilled. The ingredients are then combined in the brand’s signature blend that allows each botanical to be expressed in the final product.
RNDC California will also begin distribution of Curado Tequila on Jan. 1, 2022. Curado Tequila is produced in conjunction with Carlos Camarena. Carlos Camarena a third generation tequilero is The Master Distiller of Curado Tequila made at La Alteña distillery in Jalisco, Mexico.
