From the Department of Nobody Saw This One Coming, 7-Eleven, Inc. announced it will team up with Minibar Delivery, an on-demand alcohol delivery service, to offer beer and wine to customers’ doorsteps in select markets.

The service will kick off in Florida, Texas and Virginia, with roughly 600 stores participating in the pilot launch. The primary service areas will be Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers, Miami, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, Virginia Beach, Richmond, Norfolk and Alexandria. The plan is to expand the service by late 2021, according to a news release.

Users can log into Minibar Delivery’s app or website and order from 7-Eleven’s selection of wine and beer, for delivery within 30-60 minutes. An introductory offer will offer first-time customers $7.11 off their first order by using the code 7ELEVEN at checkout.

Selections vary by market, but will generally include various beer and wine, as well as wine cocktails. Users also can order 7-Eleven snacks, from Slurpee drinks to pizza or chips.
