Catoctin Creek Distillery announced the release of rye whiskey finished in a peach brandy barrel.

The limited Barrel Select Rye release will be about 540 bottles of a whiskey with a 100% Virginia rye mash bill finished for a year in Short Hill Mountain peach brandy, one of Catoctin Creek’s own brands.

The whiskey was bottled at 80 proof, and the price is $45.90 per bottle.

Barrel Select Rye goes on sale Nov. 16 at 8 a.m. in the Catoctin Creek online store. Bottles can be designated for pickup or shipped directly.
