October 6, 2020

Lost Lantern, a Vermont-based bottling company founded in 2018, will officially release its first whiskey in October.

American Vatted Malt Edition No. 1, a blend of whiskeys from six different distilleries across the U.S., will be available online starting Oct. 1 at the company’s website and later at Seelbach’s.

Interestingly, Lost Lantern owners Nora Ganley-Roper and Adam Polonski chose the variety of single-malt whiskeys for Vatted Malt exclusively from distillery’s they had visited personally. The whiskey is a blend of single malt whiskeys from:

  • Balcones (Waco, Texas)
  • Copperworks (Seattle, Washington)
  • Santa Fe Spirits (Santa Fe, New Mexico)
  • Triple Eight (Nantucket, Massachusetts)
  • Westward (Portland, Oregon)
  • Virginia Distillery Co. (Lovingston, Virginia)
