Trackside Distilling Company, a new-to-market brand, announced the launch of its first bottling. Trackside Founder Release 2025 is a Kentucky bourbon crafted from a chocolate malted, four-grain mash bill, aged at least 4 years.

Based in Oldham County, Kentucky, Trackside Distilling Company is the passion project of noted Master Distiller Jade Peterson and Industry Veteran Jeremy Dever. At the heart of the portfolio is Peterson’s personal collection of barrels amassed during the last 10 years.

“During the course of my career, I’ve had the chance to taste and acquire some truly exceptional whiskeys,” Peterson said in a news release. “We’ve decided that now is the time to blend some of these exceptional spirits together and release them under the Trackside brand.

“The different barrels offer a myriad of mash bills, barrel types, ages and proofs and create an unparalleled opportunity to explore countless flavor combinations. It was a blend of an art and a science to find how specific flavors interact to create a harmonious and balanced bottle, worthy the first Trackside release.”

In determining the name for the collection, Dever and Peterson were inspired by a true Kentucky legend. 

“Much of the world’s best bourbons are produced in the shadow of one of the most iconic race tracks in the world,” Dever said. “Distillation is much like racing, it takes the careful coordination of a multitude of elements to be the first across the finish line or achieve the ideal balance in a bottle, and we wanted to honor that tradition and skill in each bottle.”

Trackside Founder Release 2025 is a limited bottling (46.5% ABV/93 Proof) which will be available at the Kentucky Derby Museum Gift Shop and other select retailers throughout Kentucky. Trackside Founder Release 2025 is distributed by Heritage Wine and Spirits. SRP: $59.99.
