Booker’s Bourbon Jimmy’s Batch Hits Shelves
Beam Distillery announced the release of the final 2024 expression of Booker’s Bourbon: Jimmy’s Batch, inspired by Wild Turkey Master Distiller Jimmy Russell.
Batch 04 comprises three production dates stored in four different warehouses. It was bottled at 125.8 proof and the age is 7 years, 9 months, and 19 days. Here are the blend details:
Russell was one of Booker Noe’s dearest peers, competitors, and most importantly friends. He was also like a second father to Fred Noe, 7th Generation Master Distiller. Jimmy’s Batch pays tribute to this cherished friend of the Noe family.
“Once at a bourbon festival, Jimmy came up to Dad and me and poured out three glasses of a whiskey he wanted us to taste,” Fred Noe said in a news release. “It was some real nice stuff, and when Dad asked what it was, Jimmy said it was something new he was working on, something special. I thought it was pretty cool to bring a new product to a competitor and ask what they think. It showed me the importance of trust and camaraderie, and just how much those old timers respected each other.”
Jimmy’s Batch will be available in limited quantities in select retail locations. It joins Springfield Batch, The Beam House Batch and The Master Distiller Batch in the 2024 Booker’s lineup. Noe
“When we went to events at bars or liquor stores,” Noe recalled of Russell, “he always stayed late to make sure everyone got their picture taken and their bottle signed. It’s easy to take for granted that we get to do what we do because of the people that stand in line for our whiskey, but Jimmy never did.”
Booker’s Bourbon Jimmy’s Batch as a suggested retail price of $99.99 for a 750 mL bottle.

About Booker’s Bourbon
Booker’s Bourbon was inspired by a 200-year-old family tradition and came to life when Booker Noe selected the first bottles of Booker’s as holiday gifts for his friends and family. With its instant popularity within Noe’s close circle, Booker’s Bourbon was soon after bottled and made available on shelves for everyone to enjoy. Booker’s Bourbon is one of the only bourbons bottled straight-from-the-barrel at its natural proof, which varies from batch to batch. It is crafted in small batches and aged for six to eight years in charred oak barrels, which are stored in the center of the rack house.
