Royal Tiger, the whisky brand handcrafted in Goa, India, launched two new whiskies, with only 1,500 bottles of each available

The expressions are:

• Sherry Cask Single Malt ($70 MSRP) – The whisky is triple-barreled and finished in imported Spanish sherry casks on the family estate in Goa, India. With notes of vanilla, caramel, and delicate fruitiness, it finishes with a well-rounded malt flavor that is enchanting to even the most discriminating palate. • Maharaja Single Malt ($90 MSRP) – This 10-year-aged Indian Single Malt offers a refined journey of delicate yet bold flavors, making it one of the standout options in the realm of Indian whiskies and one of the oldest Indian Whiskies on the market.
  It is amongst the oldest Indian Whiskies on the market.

Royal Tiger whiskies are produced entirely from locally sourced grains found at the foothills of the Himalayas and hand-selected by master distiller Craig Henriques. The water comes exclusively from a pure, natural spring on the family estate. 

For more than 60 years the Henriques family has produced unparalleled whiskies, taking advantage of the pure, private spring located on their estate and Goa’s tropical climate which lends itself to an accelerated aging process.

The whiskies are matured in new American white oak barrels, charred to Henriques’ exacting standards, and aged in traditional rick houses located on the estate. After aging in the barrels, the single malt whisky is re-casked into a newly charred American white oak barrel to finish the maturation and enhance the quality and characteristics of the whisky.
