Actor Glenn Howerton sipped whiskey and conversed with Fred on the latest episode of The Fred Minnick Show.

Howerton is well known for his portrayal of Dennis Reynolds in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” as well as his starring role in the 2023 film “Blackberry.” He has also had roles in television productions such as “The Mindy Project,” “AP Bio” and “Fargo.”

He also is co-founder of Four Walls Whiskey, a brand he created with “Always Sunny” co-stars Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day. The name is a tribute to the pub depicted within the show.

In the episode, Fred and Howerton not only sip multiple Four Walls expressions, they finish up with a rare 1992 Blanton’s. Along the way, the touch on a number of topics, from Howerton’s role in “Blackberry” (and what it was like to play a bald character), the importance of salespeople in the spirits business and mental health.

The show concludes with Fred surprising Howerton by having the actor certified as a Kentucky Colonel.
