Shake Shack Adds Sandwiches Topped with Maker’s Mark Jam
Maker’s Mark has teamed up with Shake Shack on a special bourbon jam product to be used on two new menu items for the hamburger chain.
The sauce is described in a news release as marrying the iconic bourbon brand with with bacon that is smoked for six hours using hardwood applewood to create a sweet-meets-savory sauce with smoky flavors and a slight heat.
One of the new signature sandwiches using the jam is the Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger: White-cheddar cheeseburger topped with the Maker’s Mark bourbon bacon jam, crispy shallots and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. Pricing starts at $8.49.
Shake Shack also has released the Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich: Chicken breast topped with white-cheddar cheese and Maker’s bourbon bacon jam over pickles on a toasted potato bun Pricing starts at $8.09.
