Montauk Distilling Co., a craft distillery located in Riverhead, N.Y., announced its strategic partnership with family-owned boutique importer and wholesaler, Cellier Wines Distributing, unlocking both the NY and NJ markets for the company effective immediately.

As part of the company’s strategic expansion plans, the team has also invested in additional sales hires to support the continued growth of business across all select markets as to which they currently have a presence, which includes NY, NJ, RI, and FL.

“CW has proven their value exponentially in a very short period of time through their strong and loyal relationships with on and off premise customers,” Tom Joyce, partner of Montauk Distilling, said in a news release. “Our transition to them has been seamless and allows our company to have a far larger and more dynamic footprint throughout both NY and NJ.” 

The company also announced that their Modico Vodka is now featured as a signature cocktail at the Classic Car Club of New York, located at Pier 76 on the West Side Highway. One can also now enjoy Modico at the Brasserie in Grand Central Station and dozens of other great spots in New York City.

According to Joyce, “Our ‘MVPs’ remain our Modico Vodka, premium spirit at a great price, and our Montauk Gin, arguably the best tasting gin made in America. Of course, the rest of our family of spirits, superb bourbons and rums, also draw people to our Riverhead tasting room year-round.”

Our award-winning spirits are available through Cellier Wines Distributing in N.Y., McLaughlin and Moran in Rhode Island, and Community Craft Spirits in Florida as well as online.
