Log Still Distillery to Release America’s 47 Bourbon
Log Still Distillery announced the release of America’s 47 Bourbon, an expression honoring America’s only native spirit. This special bourbon will first be available in a 375ml format beginning President’s Day February 17, with a 750ml format launching March 24.
A true celebration of American craftsmanship, America’s 47 Bourbon embodies the rich traditions of bourbon-making while paying homage to DSP-KY-47, the distillery’s historic designation.
This blend combines two high-rye bourbons with a wheated bourbon, aged between five and seven years, resulting in a complex yet balanced profile at 47% ABV (94 proof).
The 375ml format ($33 SRP) will be available at Log Still Distillery, Monk’s Road Boiler House Tasting Room, through DTC website sales, starting President’s Day February 17. The 750ml format ($47 SRP) will follow on March 24, and distributed by Heidelberg Distributing in the state of Kentucky, and Lipman Brothers Distributing in Knoxville, and Tri cities.
“We wanted to create a bourbon that not only reflects the authenticity of American whiskey-making but also gives a nod to our roots with DSP-KY-47,” Wally Dant, Founder, said in a news release. “This is a bourbon for those who appreciate tradition, complexity, and a truly remarkable pour.”
