Jeptha Creed Reports Growth During Whiskey Downturn
Jeptha Creed is bucking industry trends, reporting growth across multiple areas of its business. Despite a slowdown in the bourbon industry, the family-owned distillery has expanded distribution into multiple news states, seen an increase in sales, and marked an uptick in visitor traffic to their Shelbyville location in quarter four.
“We are incredibly proud of the growth we’ve experienced, especially during such a challenging year,” Joyce Nethery, CEO & Master Distiller of Jeptha Creed Distillery, said in a news release. “We’re thrilled to see that our Ground To Glass mission is resonating with consumers.”
This growth in visitor engagement was further validated by TripAdvisor, which recently awarded Jeptha Creed Distillery again with its prestigious Traveler’s Choice Award. This honor is granted to businesses that consistently earn excellent reviews from travelers and rank in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.
Jeptha Creed’s commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience has been enthusiastically received by visitors, earning the distillery glowing reviews for its friendly service, informative tours, and welcoming atmosphere.
In addition to their tourism success, Jeptha Creed has made major strides in growing their distribution network. The distillery’s bourbon is now available in several new states, including Texas, Georgia, Florida, and Colorado. This expansion has led to an increase in overall sales, driven by extending their distribution and direct-to-consumer purchasing.
“At the end of the day, it’s about creating a product that people love and want to share with others,” Autumn Nethery, Co-owner & VP of Operations, said. “We are fortunate to have a strong, loyal customer base to build on and continue to grow. ”
