Barrell Craft Spirits Announces 33-Year Whiskey Release
Barrell Craft Spirits announced the forthcoming release of a 33-Year-Old Whiskey finished in French Oak and Oloroso Sherry casks.
This highly limited release blend of hand selected whiskey barrels, bottled at 140 proof, is a representation of the character and depth of a mature whiskey. After maturing for 33 years in the original barrels, the whiskey developed zesty citrus and herbal characteristics with notes of vanilla and veg tanned leather.
Further resting in French Oak and Oloroso sherry casks through the well-defined Kentucky seasons imparted robust and toasty highlights enhancing the complex sensory experience.
This is an extremely limited production priced at $199.99. Just 333 bottles will be available online on Wednesday November 13th at 10 a.m.
Another 70 bottles will be available at 10 a.m. that day at Barrell’s Louisville facility, located at 2100 Watterson Trail 40299. Barrell Founder Joe Beatrice, Chief of Distillery Operations Tripp Stimson and Blending Manager Nic Christiansen will be there to sign bottles.
A limited amount will be available in select stores.
