Wheel Horse Whiskey announced the release of its Fall 2024 limited edition Cigar Blend Bourbon, finished in a quartet of casks. 

The new bottling is aged between 4-5 years in new charred oak, prior to being finished in a combination of Port, Cognac, Armagnac and Sherry casks. Compared to last year’s edition – the first release of Cigar Blend – this expression is a little older, with more finishing time and an extra finishing cask type (Cognac). 

On the nose, this whiskey displays aromas of brandied cherries and pipe tobacco, making it an ideal cigar or pipe companion.

Last year’s release was rated 91 Points by WhiskyAdvocate. Like all Wheel Horse small batch whiskeys, this expression is bottled at 101 proof, non-chill filtered. Less than 4,500 bottles were produced, and the whiskey has an SRP of $37.99.
