Rolling Fork, the Indiana-based rum producer, is expanding with distribution into three new markets and a new distributor partner in one market. In addition, the brand received three new 90+ ratings from Wine Enthusiast.

Effective immediately, the Rolling Fork Rum portfolio will launch in Georgia with Ultimate Distributors, in Louisiana with Uncorked and in Alberta and in Canada with Evergreen Beverage. In Massachusetts, the brand moves to Martignetti Companies. This brings the total number of markets in which Rolling Fork has distribution to 19.

The spirits are distributed in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

“We’re excited about bringing our Rolling Fork rums to Georgia, Louisiana and Canada,” Co-founder Turner Wathen said in a news release. “Our new distributor partners understand what we do, they know how to sell craft brands and they have the relationships at the right types of independent on- and off-premise accounts for Rolling Fork.

The brand has been accumulating accolades for the last three years, and is pleased to announce their latest from Wine Enthusiast magazine:

  • 98 Points for 10 YO Rum Distilled in Barbados
  • 95 Points for Heart of Gold Rum
  • 94 Points for 12 YO Rum Distilled in Brazil

Full reviews will be featured in the November issue. Each of these high-scoring rums was sourced and re-casked by Rolling Fork into hand-selected used barrels to develop complexity and character. Heart of Gold Rum is Rolling Fork’s first rum crafted for cocktails, with a price point of $29.99, in a strategic effort to gain entry into on-premise accounts.

In addition, Tasting Panel magazine awarded Wheated Cask Wonder 8 YO Rum Distilled in Barbados with 97 Points, in its September issue. (This bottling was made available exclusively online at Seelbach’s and RollingFork.com.)

“As an independent craft brand, these reviews mean the world to us,” added Wathen. “Third-party endorsement by some of the industry’s most respected palates is the strongest, most credible testament to the quality of our rums.”

Rolling Fork Spirits was founded by Turner Wathen and Jordan Morris in 2017 as independent blenders and bottlers of rum. The brand offers unique expressions of rums without additives. Located at Starlight Distillery in Borden, Indiana, blenders use hand-selected casks (bourbon, rye, port, cognac and more) and rick house aging to develop unique flavor profiles in rums in the region synonymous with American whiskey.
