Four Gate Releases 2024 Edition of Kelvin Collaboration
Four Gate Whiskey Company has announced the latest release of the award-winning series, The Kelvin Collaboration.
Five years ago, Four Gate Whiskey Company launched their very first release to the U.S. Market. April 17, 2019, marked the company’s first batch, The Kelvin Collaboration. The release quickly became a favorite of consumers, influencers, and industry insiders. Five years later, The Kelvin Collaboration VI is ready.
The 2024 release is the product of a blend of three different 9-year-old Kentucky Straight bourbon Whiskeys. The bourbon is then aged in Portuguese madeira casks and then dark rum casks from the Florida Keys that were sourced through Kelvin Cooperage.
The new release was bottled at a robust 115.6 proof, with only 3,876 bottles produced.
“With molasses and tart red fruit on the nose, this batch came in very full-bodied,” Chief Blending Officer Bill Straub said in a news release, “It’s loaded with chocolate, dark fruits, oak, and sweetness on the palate with that molasses and oak lingering for days on the finish.”
The Kelvin Collaboration VI carries a suggested retail price of $199 and is offered to distributors in all states in which Four Gate Whiskey Company is sold along with select online retailers and Australia.
