Still Austin Teams with Writer for New Rye Release
Still Austin Whiskey Co. announced the launch of Distillery Reserve Series #13 in collaboration with Texas writer Stacey Swann. Ruby Red Port Barrel Finished Straight Rye Whiskey will go on sale starting April 15.
Notably, each bottle is unique, with a different hand-written label from a fragment of Swann’s story, Good Chaos.
The 100% rye whiskey was aged for four years, finished for eight months in Ruby Red Port barrels and then bottled at 108 proof. Products will be available to purchase online at https://www.stillaustin.com/goodchaos and are distillery pick-up only. Bottles will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to one bottle per person). The price per 750ml bottle is $100 plus tax.
After you’ve purchased your bottle, you can pick it up at the Still Austin Tasting Room beginning on Friday, April 19th during normal business hours.
Still Austin’s Distillery Reserve Series releases are highly anticipated and collectible, often with only a few hundred bottles available per release. For this Distillery Reserve release, the distillery paired the distiller’s art with the work of Swann – each hand-written label contains a fragment of her story, Those interested can read the story in its entirety at the website.
