The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) announced a new partnership with The Tasting Alliance, a leader in global spirits and wine competitions, that will open the door to the world of spirits competitions and benefits DISCUS members.

Through this collaboration, DISCUS members will receive a 10% discount in all competitions hosted by the Alliance. From San Francisco to Singapore, The Tasting Alliance hosts several top-notch competitions every year, which are highly regarded throughout the spirits industry.

“By joining forces with The Tasting Alliance, we can offer new value to DISCUS members while deepening our connection to the industry at large,” Chris Swonger, president and CEO of DISCUS, said in a news release. “Spirits competitions are a huge part of our industry, and we are excited to collaborate and work together with The Tasting Alliance.”

Also, as part of the partnership, DISCUS is offering competition-winning craft distillers a 10% discount on DISCUS membership during their first year as a DISCUS member. Through DISCUS, competition winners can acquire support in the areas of exporting and advocacy while learning how to better navigate the spirits industry.
