The World Whiskey Society recently launched worldwhiskey.com, showcasing ultra-premium collections of rare expressions with extraordinary bottle designs previously unavailable to even the most sophisticated whiskey enthusiasts.

Direct-to-customer shipping is now available throughout the US.

“Our collections range from 32-year-old Macallan Single Malts encased in crystal protected by elaborate armor to our Doc Holliday 7, 8, and 10-Year-Old Straight Bourbon Whiskies encapsulated to replicate the chamber of Doc Holliday’s six-shooter revolver,” says Alex Kogan, owner of the World Whiskey Society. “We constantly scour the world to find rare whiskies to share with our patrons or create something unexplored with imported exotic oak barrels. We strive to innovate and experiment continuously to create the world’s most interesting whiskies. I hope you will enjoy a dram from one of our truly one-of-a-kind collections.”

The 8-Year-Old Doc Holliday is now available online and is extremely limited. The WWS’s most recent collection features an homage to “the slickest gunslinger of the west,” Doc Holliday.

Originally distilled by the Lovell family in Mt. Airy, GA, this straight bourbon whiskey has a unique mash bill consisting of corn, malted corn, rye, and malted barley distilled by the late Ivy Mountain Distillery in 2015 where the remaining barrels were sold and moved to Texas for two brief years. The double climate maturation conditions, along with its malted corn mash bill worked together over the past eight years to create this very rich and full-body whiskey with notes of sweet caramel and chocolate orange.

The World Whiskey Society (WWS) was established in 2020 by Aiko Impoters, Inc., a nationally recognized importer of alcoholic beverages in the US market.
