Beam Distilling Co. released the final installment of the 2022 Booker’s Bourbon Collection, Booker’s Batch 2022-04, “Pinkie’s Batch.”

This batch is named in honor of series creator Booker Noe’s dad, the original Frederick Booker Noe, per a news release. The elder Noe is better known as Pinkie to his family and friends. No one is quite sure where his nickname came from, but he’s remembered as someone who always followed his passions.

Although he wasn’t in the bourbon business like Booker, the two would bond over hunting quail and watching football. 

Most people thought Pinkie was in the bourbon business, which was a fair assumption to make about someone in the Noe family, but he actually worked as the vice president of the local bank. He did enjoy drinking bourbon, but being a part of the bourbon business wasn’t his thing.

When he wasn’t running the bank, Pinkie loved to golf and tried to play as often as possible. He was also an outdoorsman with a passion for hunting that he passed down to Booker.

Like all batches of Booker’s Bourbon, Booker’s “Pinkie’s Batch” was selected by Seventh Generation Master Distiller Fred Noe to ensure it upholds the qualities and standards that his dad set for Booker’s Bourbon more than 30 years ago.

Pinkie’s Batch is uncut and unfiltered, aged 6 years and 10 months, and bottled at 122.4 proof.

Booker’s Bourbon is inspired by a 200-year-old family tradition. Sixth Generation Master Distiller Noe first created Booker’s Bourbon as a Christmas gift for close friends and family. Booker took barrels found in the center-cut of the rack house, and bottled the bourbon straight-from-the-barrel.

Each batch is released in limited quantities and features a unique label and batch name that honors Booker Noe, his love of family and his spirit of experimentation. Previous 2022 releases included 2022-01 “Ronnie’s Batch,” 2022-02 “The Lumberyard Batch” and 2022-03 “Kentucky Tea Batch.”

Booker’s “Pinkie’s Batch” is now available nationwide in limited quantities with a Suggested Retail Price of $89.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
