The new expression in Old Forester’s 117 Series will be released with a bit of holiday spirit to go with America’s native spirit.

On Tuesday, Dec. 13, Old Forester’s new Master Taster Melissa Rift will be on hand 8-11 a.m. at the distillery’s Whiskey Row location at 119 W. Main St. in Louisville to kick off the release with a tasting of the new bourbon release with attendees.

Attendees will not only get a tasting with Rift, but also can be among the first to purchase a bottle of the new 117 Series and also be treated to free coffee, hot chocolate, and
holiday cookies from the Please and Thank You.

The 117 Series was named for the address at 117 W. Main St in Louisville where the distillery was located from 1882-1919, and was created by former Master Taster Jackie Zykan. Previous releases include Angels Share and Fireman Barrels.
