Gin Mare Releases New Lemon-Infused Capri
Gin Mare, the first-ever Mediterranean Gin, which launched in 2010, has officially released the special edition Gin Mare Capri, which pays homage to the majestic island of Capri, where the “Dolce Vita” lifestyle, the gastronomy, climate, land, and sea are beloved by travelers from around the world.
Gin Mare Capri is made with Calabrian bergamot and lemons from Capri, along with Gin Mare’s four principal botanicals – Arbequina olive from Spain, rosemary from Greece, thyme from Turkey, and Italian sweet basil. The production process starts with a premium French barley base, combined with a delicate maceration for 48 hours and independent distillation process of each botanical, finalized by its signature blending process, which allows all the characteristics of each botanical to be expressed in the result. The Capri lemons are peeled by hand and then macerated for 12 months in small aluminum tanks.
Gin Mare Capri’s packaging also is inspired by the colors and textures of the Mediterranean Sea, where every detail enhances the craft behind the product – from the cork stopper that reinforces a commitment to sustainability, to the label made of cloth fabric, and the shape and texture of the bottle that reflects the waves and sea erosion and the passage of time.
Capri is bottled at 42.7% ABV, and sold at an SRP of $48 per 700L bottle.
