Orphan Barrel Distilling Releases Muckety-Muck 25-Year-Old Single Grain Scotch
The Orphan Barrel Whisky Distilling Co. released Muckety-Muck 25 Year Old, a limited edition, Single Grain Scotch Whisky from the now-ghost Port Dundas distillery.
It is the latest addition in the Orphan Barrel collection of rare, hand-bottled whiskies and the first Single Grain Scotch Whisky to be featured.
Hailing from the defunct distillery of Port Dundas, Muckety-Muck pays tribute to the distillery’s successful days as one of Scotland’s most respected operations and the hundreds of pigs that fed on the distillery draff. One prized pig in particular, Muckety-Muck, won over passersby with his decorated wall of medals in the breeding shed.
Muckety-Muck will be available in six label variations: the prized pig on the bottle label dons either a red, yellow, orange, green, blue or gray Scottish tartan.
The whiskey is extremely limited. SRP is $249.99, with a nationwide release.
