Innerstave, a provider of oak barrel alternatives, announced the appointment of Lee Tatum as Managing Director, Spirits, based in Louisville, KY.

In his role, Tatum will manage the introduction of Innerstave’s innovative products and services to the spirits industry to help spirits achieve a range of flavors, aromatics, and texture through the use of oak, micro-oxygenation and Fiber Infused Technology.  

Tatum brings nearly 30 years of experience in the Wine and Spirits Industry, including a 23-year career at Brown-Forman, where he held several important roles, such as VP, Director of Portfolio innovation, Chief of Staff to the CEO, Director of Business Development and New Brand Development, as well as a variety of additional executive positions. Most recently, Tatum was Managing Director for Kentucky Owl Bourbon.  

Tatum will work closely with Steve Dorfman, President, and Cody Ewers, VP Global Sales & Marketing
