Michter’s 20 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon will begin shipping to distributors in November, the distillery announced today.

Michter’s made the announcement days after being named “Most Admired American Whiskey” by UK-based Drinks International.

Barrels for the bourbon were selected by Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson, per a statement by Michter’s President Joseph J. Magliocco. He noted that the distillers “pay extra special attention” to barrels once they reach 15 years in age.

The proof of the 2021 release of 20-year straight bourbhon is 114.2, and the suggested U.S. retail price is $750. Supplies are limited and allocated.
