The Dalmore Highland Single Malt is releasing a series of single malt whiskies celebrating the whisky maker’s relentless pursuit of excellence. The Dalmore Decades will showcase the last 60 years of its distilling, drawing on the distillery’s inventory to complete three different collections.

The featured collection of the series is The Dalmore Decades No. 6 Collection: a single set of six single malts from six different decades to be sold through a global auction, facilitated by Sotheby’s Hong Kong, in October 2021. This collection features whiskies from 1951, 1967, 1979, 1980, 1995 and 2000.

In addition, 15 sets of the No. 5 Collection will be available globally, featuring five whiskies from 1967 onwards, while 25 sets of The Dalmore Decades No. 4 Collection – profiling four whiskies from 1979 – are set to go on sale as well.

Each whiskey is the personal selection of Master Distiller Richard Paterson. The series will be presented in The Dalmore’s iconic bottle design, with bespoke silver collar and Glencairn crystal decanter, and each set of the No. 5 will feature a different color stopper and display pedestal.
