Chattanooga Whiskey Releases Bottled in Bond Vintage Series Bourbon
Chattanooga Whiskey announced the release of its Bottled in Bond Vintage Series: Spring 2017. The release marks a new permanent addition to the Chattanooga Whiskey Family of Brands.
The new Vintage Series bourbon is a single-season, vintage-dated expression of Chattanooga Whiskey’s Tennessee High Malt style. It is from a selection of four unique high malt bourbon mash bills – all made within the same distilling season – and each composed of at least 25% specialty malted grains.
To be labeled Bottled in Bond, the bourbon must be the product of one distillation season, one distiller, and from one distillery. Legally, it must be aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof. This release meets these standards, but is also a Bottled in Bond expression unlike any other.
Chattanooga Whiskey Bottled in Bond will be available in Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Florida, Illinois and the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery at a suggested retail price of $49.99 for a 750ml bottle.
