Four Gate Whiskey Company announced the release of River Kelvin Rye, an 8-year straight rye whiskey.

Blended by Bill Staub, Four Gate’s chief blending officer, the rye is bottled at 113 proof with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. A previous version of Kelvin Rye, a 7-year-old, also was blended Staub.

Only 2,470 bottles of River Kelvin Rye were produced. It will be available starting in June in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia, as well as online through Seelbachs.com, BourbonOutfitter.com, and Caskers.com. Bottles carry an SRP of $185.
