Speed Rack Announces Women’s History Month programming
Speed Rack, a nonprofit organization that advocates for women in the hospitality industry and which has raised over $1 million for breast cancer research, announced programming for Women’s History Month in March.
Initiatives will include the launch of a new advisory panel; panels and live discussions, and special Speed Rack Academy classes.
The Speed Rack Advisory Squad, as it will be called, will be designed to equip the next generation of bartending and spirits professional with the tools needed to achieve career goals through a variety of efforts such as networking and mentoring.
Speed Rack will partner with BRANCA USA to present panels and conversations under the theme She Persisted Women’s (Her)story which will tackle key issues affecting women today. They will be free and open to the public, with panels on mentorship, bar and restaurant ownership, driving careers and business building. Live discussions will include topics such as side hustles and finances, among others. Those interested can get more information and RSVP online.
