Fettercairn Distillery Announces First Small Batch Whiskey Collection
Fettercairn Distillery announced the release of The Warehouse Collection, the U.K. distillery’s first ever collection of small batch single malt whiskys. The collection will pay homage to Fettercairn’s 14 dunnage warehouses.
Limited to 3,600 bottles, the first installment in the new collection, Warehouse 2 Batch No. 001, comprises five different cask styles all filled in 2010 and matured in the high-humidity Warehouse 2.
Bottled at 49.7% ABV, Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch No. 001 was aged in first-fill American and European oak casks, including unseasoned casks as well as sherry, bourbon and port casks.
The release will initially launch in the UK via The Whisky Shop from March 1, at an RSP of £55. Wider UK distribution will begin around mid-March and into other key markets including the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France later in March. The Collection’s second release will happen later in 2021.
