Four Roses and Nanz & Kraft Florists are hoping for a match made in heaven this Valentine’s Day, with a pairing of bourbon and, of course, roses.

The limited-edition offering, available beginning Jan. 28, will include a dozen Heart Roses – a variety of rose known for its large petal count that creates the shape of a heart – and a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch signed by Master Distiller Brent Elliott.

The package is $125 and a portion of proceeds from the limited release package will benefit the American Heart Association. In addition, each customer who purchases a bourbon-and-roses pairing will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a behind-the-scenes tour of the Four Roses Distillery once the visitor center expansion is completed (projected for late 2021).

This year’s promotion is a virtual alternative to the traditional Flower Hour, which usually happens the Friday before Valentine’s Day. The tradition was to be in its 13^th year.

“It was important to us to continue this long-standing partnership with Nanz & Kraft although we are only able to be together in spirit this year,” said Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott. “While our Valentine’s Day celebrations will look a bit different, I am happy to have the opportunity to help the American Heart Association raise awareness about heart health, and much needed funds for our community.”

Four Roses has also prepared a silent auction including sought-after Bourbon releases such as the 2020 Limited Edition Small Batch, 130th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch and Al Young 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch and more, with proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association. The silent auction will be set up inside Nanz & Kraft, 141 Breckenridge Lane in Louisville, from Thursday, Jan. 28, to Saturday, Feb. 13. Masks and social distancing will be required.
