Bowmore Unveils 30-Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky announced the release of its 30-year-old whisky, which is planned to become an annual release.
The whiskey celebrates “how time shapes the exceptional Bowmore character and bringing a new aged expression to the global portfolio,” according to a news release.
The whisky was distilled in 1989, then aged in sherry hogsheads and bourbon barrels in Bowmore No. 1 Vaults, considered one of the world’s oldest maturation warehouses. It was bottled at 45.3% and sold with a signature box.
Only 2,580 bottles are available, at an SRP of $2,5000.
