Brown-Forman Partners with Republic National to Donate $100k to Apron, Inc.
Service industry workers across the country have faced lost wages and health risks throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. Brown-Forman Corporation and Republic National Distributing Company is partnering up to help those workers in Kentucky.
The two Kentucky-based companies announced a plan to partner with APRON, Inc., to provide an additional $100,000 in the month of December to supplement previous similar donations made across the country over the past months.
Louisville-based APRON, Inc.’s mission is to provide temporary financial relief to food and beverage industry workers in the metro area who are experiencing financial distress. Specifically, these additional donated funds will help struggling hospitality industry workers in Louisville during the holiday season.
“We are pleased to provide support to those impacted by the current pandemic,” said Les Thomas, Brown-Forman general manager for Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and North Carolina.. “With restrictions continuing to impact these workers, we want to do what we can to help them and their families.”
Eligible workers can visit aproninc.org to apply, beginning at noon on Dec. 16.
