2019 has been the year of raising money for charity. Through bourbon, emceeing or donating tastings, I or my organizations have helped raise more than $2-million for causes ranging from Dare To Care, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Green Beret Foundation and many more. Frankly, I love it and am so glad bourbon can do good for so many.

Now that we’re rounding out the year, there’s still time to give. The Ronald McDonald House is raffling off a set of Van Winkles. For $100, with the drawing on December 5 (Repeal Day, FYI), you gotta shot at winning:

 For the provenance, the 10-year and 12-year-olds were donations from well-known Louisville collector, Michael Gordon, who owns Anytime Waste Systems. And the organization purchased the Pappy lineup from Liquor Barn at retail price.

Even if you don’t like Pappy, think about what your $100 donation can do for the families staying at the Louisville Ronald McDonald House. I am the father of two beautiful children and I cannot imagine how I would cope with their fighting a major illness. And the Ronald McDonald House is there for the families fighting for their children. The least we can do is be there for them during the holidays.
