Jim Beam officially announced a new product—Little Book, an annual limited edition blended series.

The news of this was first mentioned at my Kentucky Derby Museum’s Legends Series with Fred Noe, who revealed his son, Freddie, was “up to something” for a brand called “Little Book.” When I pushed him for more info, he snickered and said “you’ll have to ask Freddie,” his son who’s in charge of the uncut, unfiltered blend. The whiskey includes:

• 4-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey
• 13-year-old corn whiskey
• About 6-year-old 100% malt whiskey
• About 6-year-old high-rye whiskey

It hits stores nationally in October with an SRP of $79.99.

The spokesperson said the release will be half the release of Booker’s.
