Who says the little guy can’t export whiskey overseas?

Purcellville, Va.-based microdistiller Catoctin Creek announced distribution into the Australian and New Zealand markets via Challenger Beverages. The countries will import: Roundstone Rye, 80 proof (40% ABV); Roundstone Rye, 92 proof (46% ABV); Roundstone Rye, CASK PROOF (58% ABV); and Watershed Gin, 92 proof (46% ABV). All at 750 ml.

The company said products will initially launch in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Shipped on the sea, products are expected to be in country by mid-September 2015, the company said.

Catoctin Creek is also available Europe, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
